Badminton Open Day

The Badminton Open day on Sunday 24th June 2007 at Auckland Badminton Association Hall, 99, Gillies Ave brought crowds of new faces. The younger participants were challenged by the older members in mix doubles organised well by Kapila & Ranjith from the Badminton Club. It was a pleasure to see the community express interest in keeping active through participation. We encourage membership to serve the community better. Kind Regards, Omar

"Tharu Arana" Nanda Malin & Victor Ratnayake Show

The crowds turned up in large numbers to take-in the amazing and heart warming beautiful melodies of the two singers, Nanda Malini & Victor Ratnakaye on Saturday 26 May 2007 at the Dorothy Winstone Centre. Everyone present enjoyed the classical music, it even brought on tears when Nanda Malini sang the famous "Amma" (Mother) classic. We thank NZ Community Trust, Advertisers and the Community for making this event another success for the NZSLFoundation.
