NZSLF showcases our cultures at The Auckland International Carnival Parade

The NZSLF represented Sri Lanka in the Auckland International Carnival held on Saturday the 15th of October 2011 at Glen Innes in a very colorful manner. This was very well received by spectators.

The culture, heritage and traditions of Sri Lanka have been an integral part of the lives of Sri Lankans living in New Zealand and we are pleased and proud that we were able to showcase these through our young Sri Lankan children who patriotically volunteered to showcase part of our culture and Ethnic background at this international parade.

With their participation we were able to depict very vividly the ethnic diversity of Sri Lankans to an international Audience.

The committee of the NZSLF would like to thank these young children and their parents for their participation at this event.
